Europe
A Europe eSIM is one profile that roams onto a local partner network in each country on its list, with nothing to swap at a border. Install before you fly; activation needs Wi-Fi.

ℹ Before you buy
A regional plan roams across the countries listed on the plan, and nothing more. The EU's "roam like at home" rules apply to consumer SIMs issued by an EU operator, not to travel eSIMs, so check the plan's own country list rather than assuming it covers the whole EU or all of geographic Europe. Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and the UK sit outside the EU and are included or excluded plan by plan.

- When you land
- Install the profile and scan the QR at home on Wi-Fi before you travel, whichever country you land in first. On arrival anywhere in the region, switch off airplane mode and give the phone a minute or two to attach to a local partner network — the carrier name it shows will be a local operator, not your provider. Keep Data Roaming ON for the eSIM line, and your home line's data off.
Common questions
- Which countries does a Europe eSIM cover?
- Exactly the ones listed on the plan, and no others. There is no standard "Europe" set — every provider draws its own list. Before buying, open the coverage list and check off each country on your itinerary by name. Assuming a country is included because it is in Europe is the most common and most expensive mistake.
- Does it work in the UK, Switzerland, Norway or Iceland?
- It depends entirely on the plan's list. None of those four are in the EU, so they are included or excluded plan by plan, and they are the ones travellers most often assume are covered. If your trip includes any of them, verify they are named on the coverage list before you buy rather than after you land.
- Do I need to change anything when I cross a border?
- No. The profile stays the same and attaches to a local partner network on the other side automatically. Your phone may show a different carrier name and take a minute or two to register, especially on a train. Leave Data Roaming on for the eSIM line — that is what lets the switch happen.
